Voici venu un nouveau bourreau pour les accros de la torture d'image. Now comes a new executioner junkies image torture. Livré sur CD, ce logiciel s'installe via l'Installer habituel. Démarrage ! Startup!

Clic-clic, on démarre le singe (l'icône est une tête de singe), quelques secondes d'initialisation (68030 oblige) et on démarre d'office par l'image d'origine, le singe (fig. 1). Chouette : la convivialité, le résultat rapide (même sur un 68030), l'amusement, l'installation simple prévue pour 68030 à PowerPC, et d'AGA à cartes graphiques.

Bof : l'impression via le bouton TurboPrint (résultat bizarre, six images sur la même feuille), la doc en anglais et sur le CD (pas de document avec), la sauvegarde en 24 bits d'office (la taille des images en énorme), pas de menu, tout à base de boutons ou de touches de fonction.

Grrrr : ouvrir l'aide avec le bouton "?", faire passer l'aide en second plan, revenir sur la fenêtre de travail... et comme il n'y a pas de gadget avant/arrière, rester bloquer, car le programme continue seulement quand l'aide sous AmigaGuide est fermée.

Je n'ai pas trouvé de mode d'écran, le programme démarre en DoublePAL sur mon 1200 sans carte graphique. Un dernier point : ce logiciel est parfait pour de belles et grandes images, mais pour des images de faible résolution, la déformation sera mauvaise. N'étant pas un féru de la langue de Sheaksmachin, je n'ai sûrement pas compris toute la doc. Not being a buff language Sheaksmachin, I certainly did not understand the full doc. Considérez donc cet article comme une avant-première.
One last Point : This software is perfect for nice big pictures, but for low-resolution images, the distortion will be poor. De nombreuses fonctions seront disponibles dans l'avenir, via Aminet ou via le réseau de revendeurs (en fonction de la nature de la mise à jour).
