AMiga DOSBOX

To be able to play all Windows games on AMiga DOSBOX (or any other version of the software) Microsoft simply need to put some source code to MS-DOS (remember IBM-DOS and the DOS to VIC20 and other Commodore or/and Amiga machines covered below) but not much (compared to Windows later versions ;-).

---the source code we want is NOT Microsoft's but other companies and open source mainly---

I don't want more than 6 abuse report(s) so I answer one last time on my blog

Hello holy inviolate Amigans!

Why in this fuck*** world did I get ABUSE-reports (several on that single notice) on the message above?

-=>A new bog post<=- about how to make your garage utilizable (note! the dumped article is in Swedish)

My suggestion is an international Amiga Future with one single office in every country that produce many different issues ---and someone tell the guy above to start his own mag cause this is not his from the beginning---

R.I.P.!   ;-)

Can you find this totally new mag called >Amigaville< by searching with Google?, a innovative and a bit different action/strategy/platform/adventure Amiga game called Lariad, and a few really *high quality* Amiga racing games *free libre open source gives you and all of us the best and really state of the art games to both Amiga and other platforms* + EVEN MORE

I sometimes wonder how many *high quality* magz =>that is partly or mainly about Amiga<= we have online =>and do the developers on Google really know the truth when it comes to World Wide Web, and the mankind<=? :-/

_________________________________________________________________

A ACTION/STRATEGY/PLATFORM/ADVENTURE GAME >LARIAD - A SPACE ADVENTURE< ENTIRELY DEVELOPED AND PORTED *just use the source code* BY THE AMIGA FRENCH TEAM *pubs by HunoPPC according to their blog* LAST YEAR AND THIS YEAR... *THE MIT LICENSE*

The protagonist is a swamp dweller who lives peacefully on his wetland planet, all by himself. Then, one fateful night, unbeknownst to the swamp dweller, an intruder lands on his planet and steals something that's very precious to him.

AT EPSILON'S BLOG YOU ALSO FIND...

A game in the genre - new racing games *in high quality* directly developed to next generation Amiga - that is a remake of a classic racing game in OCS - called Amiga Racer that is under development =>by AmigaTec<= at this stage, with plenty of work to be done. Please be aware of this when trying it out. But if you are interested to download and follow along as the game is developing, then Amiga Racer is interesting to muck around with! This game is a remake in the style of => I actually think it is a remake of that game ---- they must have used the the origin source code that mainly was hardcoded on and to Amiga ~ from it* ---- that played as a kid <= *Lotus Turbo Challenge or otherwise Jaguar XJ220 => 1990/1991 or 1993 <= on the Amiga 1000/500 or similar.

Compare the latest version of Amiga Racer - mentioned above - with a today much more developed open source * or free libre open source * or free open source * or racing game called Speed Dreams also for /\MIG/\ => of course /and as mentioned/ it's relesed as a OSS/FOSS/FLOSS =>or simply open source<= game <=

Another *high quality* free *but not open source* Amiga racing * or game - a long time ago - previewed in Amiga Future issue 67 =>page 16<= is Racer - the real deal. This product is a car simulator project using knowledge about car physics to achieve both a realistic feeling and driving. An excellent render engine =>OpenGL<= is used for graphical realism. Cars, tracks and such can be created relatively easy (compared to other ****more closed driving simulations**** Different tool, exporters, track creators, test programs and similar THE DEVELOPERS MADE THE GAME OPEN SOURCE AT FIRST BUT THEN CLOSED IT SO THE REAL SOURCE CODE IS AT THIS MOMENT QUITE OLD BUT STILL VERY IMPRESSIVE). The 3D files, physics, and specific file formats are documented. Both different editors and support programs are available. Official site with both screen shots and vids => the game can be executed on all kinds of operating systems like for instance AmigaOS/MorphOS/AROS despite the opposite information on the site | source | link + a video | Developed by Dolphinity B.V. => people that coded different parts is for instance Uwe Schuerkamp - support for sound on Linux (first SDL, then FMOD, which was ported back to Windows), Dominik Pospisil - support for controllers on Linux , and Paul Harrington - the idea of using suspension forces instead of tire forces for the wheel motions. Currently tire forces are used again though, since they add a little bit more realism.
